June 27 - 1998 Cornell University, Ithaca - New York
Long trip, but worth the while. I was able to see my friends Adam and Annette
exchange vows and begin the rest of their lives together. I drove up to Pennsylvania State on Friday and
stayed with a friend there. Saturday morning, drove up to Cornell, watched the ceremony, visited with my
friends for a bit and then drove back to Penn State. Partied a little and drove back to Raleigh on Sunday. Twenty some hours
in the car, but it isn't every weekend that I get to see friends start their lives again together.
Adam and I started in the VT TKD club together. I believe that was where I first met him.
From there, he was an Electrical Engineer and I was in the Computer Engineering disciple. We shared several
classes. Through the TKD club, we both became instructors and between myself, Adam, and Jeff, we covered the
instruction for several years. Working with (sometimes against) Adam was always fun and now that we've
both graduated, life isn't the same. I met Annette through her relationship with Adam, and those two
are some of the smartest people I know. Watching the ceremony brought back a lot of fun times and
makes me appreciate our friendships. Congratulations to the both of you!
