After finals I headed up to Purdue to visit with Alecia during her
graduation (finally!) from Purdue University. This was also my last chance to visit with her before the
holidays kicked in. I arrived on Thursday and Alecia took me to a dinner party wtih her co-workers from
Convocations. It was a bit awkward, but I got over it and ate some food. Alecia was recovering from a virus
or the flu or something... and I was trying not to get sick.
The rest of the weekend went fairly smooth. We spent time with Alecia's friends and hit several places around West Lafayette. One of our nights took us to a Hookah bar for some fun. On Sunday, her parents arrived and we took to campus for several hours of sitting and listening. The ceremony went smoothly. The speeches were fairly standard and the processional was a lot of people getting a lot of hoods and diplomas. Three hours later, we were done and Alecia was officially done with school. (Forever?)

After graduation we went out for dinner at a nice steakhouse. Good food, good drink and
some fun family times. I grabbed a few photos when I could. Afterwards, we went back to the hotel and exchanged gifts
and turned in for the evening. The next morning we had breakfast at Triple XXX and I hitched a ride to the airport. Smooth
ride home and off to road trip for the holidays!
