Dragoncon, Atlanta
     August & September, 2003
A weekend in Atlanta. I picked up David on the way in and Paul met us at my sister's place. We relaxed for a while and caught up on old times, just hanging out. We drove into downtown Atlanta on Saturday to sign up for the conference and to see all of the booths and other events that were taking place. I signed up for a Living Greyhawk gaming eveng so that I could see what it was about. I also picked up a few books so that I could complete my collection of the 3rd Edition rules.

The gaming was short but fun. My character died somewhere along the adventure... oops! Other than gaming, there were lots of vendors selling wares, an art gallery, dozens of specialty rooms and hundreds and hundreds of people wearing costumes. Some were very quality, some were pretty shoddy. After hanging out all day at the Con, DJ, Paul and I went upstairs to my friend Bryan's room and hung out there for a while. We headed back to my sister's place to sleep for the night. We all parted ways the next day and headed home. It was a rather short weekend, but it was fun to hang out and just do very little except see the interesting sights.
