Another birthday! This time it is the first birthday of my newest niece Makayla. I do not get to see my sisters
very much at all... so it was a good opportunity to visit the whole family at once. Alecia and I arrived at my sister's place on Saturday.
My mom and dad came down as did my brother-in-law's parents. We planted roses, ate food, and played some cards. The next day, I played
golf with my other brother-in-law. Alecia was forced to come along. After that we celebrated my niece's birthday. She didn't get
as excited as everyone would hope... the cake stayed intact. It was a good visit with the family and it gave Alecia the chance to
meet most of my siblings. It was a lot of driving to get to Chatanooga and back, but I think it was worth it!
