     Housewarming Party, Raleigh, North Carolina
At last, I am a homeowner. Yet another reason to celebrate! I bought a house in Raleigh, near the North Carolina State University. It's a pretty sweet little townhouse, about two miles from campus, less than five miles from a great shopping center, and about 500 feet from Lake Johnson.

So I threw a party to celebrate the loss of a substantial amount of money and the freedom that I would have to just pack up and move. Oh well. C'est la vie. The party was an assortment of people: ones I work with, ones from the school I used to go to, ones from the school I currently go to, and some other friends that have stuck with me through the years. Some people felt old, some felt young, but after a few drinks they were feeling better. Here are some photos of the various groups. The groups tended to stay segregated, so it makes for easy group photos.

The first is of my local friends. (Ignore Gerald on the right, stealing my CDs.) The next is of the same group, after they moved outside. The next two are of Tommy & Crystal, who go to NCSU as well. The fifth and sixth are of the people I work with. Jeff is in the middle on that last one, playing the part of the chipmunk with his brownie.

Josh & Linda The Bed The Bed
Somehow the group got seperated. A bunch ended up in my room, listening to music and laying on the bed. Josh and Linda (first on the right) were in charge of picking the tunes. Everyone else wrestled for a spot on the bed. The third picture shows Laurina waiting to kick some butt.

So here we have Laurina again. Twice. Followed by my good VT TKD friends, Peggy and Liana. Then Faith and Kelly. Then Faith and Chris. Then a group of us in the kitchen. (Scott, Kamran, Andy, and myself.)

And what party would be complete without pictures of me hanging all over women. The first is Maggie. She's engaged to be married sometime in 2000. The next is Becky, who had to be forced into the picture. And what photo collection could be considered complete without a shot of Becky's foot!
