My favorite holiday of the year! Halloween! This time it lined up with a trip to visit Alecia at Purdue. We
had a busy weekend... Friday was Halloween with Alecia and her friends at a party. I did not plan very well for this event, so I had to come
up with a costume that I could pack and get to Indiana in one piece. So I went with an old standby... a flasher. I have an old trench coat
from my grandfather that is actually a very nice coat.
We spent Friday afternoon out shopping for an outfit and playing around the mall. Alecia and Ann went as dark angels. The party was interesting. Lots of people I didn't know... Jello shooters, beer and other stuff. I watched a fight break out between a few guys over a girl. This girl was someone's girlfriend, but she was out flirting with other guys. Well, this boyfriend of hers did not appreciate the other guys and decided to do something about it. It was stupid... this girl is the source of all the trouble and it becomes a brawl among the guys. The only real catch was that Alecia and I were trying to hitch a ride home with the victim of this girl's fun. So we had to wait for the fight to get resolved before we could leave. Luckily, no one was injured. We hitched a ride back to the house and had a good evening after getting settled in.

The weekend was only beginning! We got up early in the morning to make it to Breakfast Club. Now if you don't know
what Breakfast Club is... then you're missing out on a big ol' drinking party. It all starts very early in the morning around 7 or 8 AM. You show
up at the bars and pick up where you left off the night before. This happens everytime there is a home game at Purdue. So by the time the
game begins, all of the students are well on their way to forgetting where the stadium is! Quite fun. The best part of Breakfast Club is the
dress code. Most everyone comes out wearing some sort of fantastical costume. It's rather humerous. Since this was the day after Halloween, it
was easy to get everyone out in full costume. However, since most of the group was out drinking heavily for the holiday it was a mediocre showing for
Breakfast.
I don't remember who Purdue played that weekend... Not even sure if we made it to the game. I know I had a bit to drink and I think we got some quality food at Triple XXX which is similar to Waffle House but a much better quality of food. Usually better service as well. Alecia and I hung out and did some movies and TV before Sunday when I headed back to Raleigh. Another good trip up to Indiana!
