What a fun way to spend vacation... DRIVE! I covered around 2,000 miles on the trip:
1) Start in Raleigh, NC 2) Drive to Atlanta, GA 3) Visit older sister and brother-in-law. 4) Drive to Houston, TX 5) Visit brother. 6) Drive to Austin, TX 7) Visit friend Lauren. 8) Drive to Chatanooga, TN 9) Visit younger sister and brother-in-law. 10) Adore my new niece! 11) Drive to Kingsport, TN 12) Visit Mom, Dad and Step-Mom. 13) Visit old high school friend. 14) Drive back to Raleigh I did not take many pictures on this trip... A few in Texas when I visited my brother and then a few in Kingsport with Cheree. I had a great time and relaxed as much as possible. I had plenty o' movies and tunes in the car to get me going on the road as well as Internet access whenever I needed it. I'll admit it... I'm a net-junkie. :) I feel that the squirrel pictures need a little explanation. It was extremely weird because these squirrels were climbing on a stop sign when there was a perfectly good tree like 5 feet away. It added to the weirdness because it was nearly 100 degrees outside and that metal could not have been comfortable to the touch. I think the animals have been in the heat too long.

It had been a LONG time since I had seen Cheree. A lot has changed
in those years. She's married with a child... My old high school girlfriend Misty has married...
lots and lots of things. It was good to see her again and good to reminisce about things.
