Tailgating... no better way to spend 14 hours on a Saturday. I earned the nickname of
Grumpy B this Fall during football season. I'm not a morning person, especially on weekends, which is my only
chance to sleep in. Unfortunately there were several early (noon or 2-ish) games for the Wolfpack, so that
meant meeting to head to the game by 9 or 10 AM.
The group I went tailgating with is a very special group. Jen and Jeremy are destined to be Miss and Mister Wolf. Whatever I might lack in school spirit, they more than make up for. What got me this year was that I didn't get to see very many of the Virginia Tech games because there was no way to make it back from the game in time to catch it. VT did well this year, I hope they continue it on for next year. Anyhoo... there were some fun times. I just don't have it in me to sit still for that long when I've got other stuff to do. Work and school are not giving me any slack, so I'm not signing up for tickets again next year. I'll be cozy on the couch with my thesis watching the games. :)
