Quick weekend trip to the beach. When
there's an empty beach house to use, you just can't turn it down! The guys drove
out on Friday night and the ladies drove out on Saturday morning. We took
Saturday morning to visit the Wright brothers' museum at Kitty Hawk. Here we are from left to right: Alan, Ceci, Brandon, Suzanne and Brit. That is supposed to be the Wright brothers' memorial in the background, but it didn't show up well in this shot. |

Saturday afternoon & evening we spent
walking around the local area. Nice houses, nice views of the bay and the mainland and
there is also Currituck Lighthouse nearby. The weather was a bit cold on Saturday,
but a few hours in a hot tub can cure that. Here Brit and Alan took the chance to work on their photography talent. If you look real carefully at the second picture, you can see Alan's head poking over the bay wall. He took some shots from the low angle across the water. I'll post them at the end when I get the chance. |
| We ended up buying plenty of food. Didn't end up eating it all. Just a mix of pasta, some chicken, etc... We all pitched in a little. Brit and Suzanne pitched in by dancing around the kitchen. |

Sunday was quite a bit warmer, so
we spent time walking and playing around on the beach. Very relaxing. I hope to
find a weekend to head back out there soon.
